The Law Office of A. Tucker Derstine, PLLC was founded in 2021. Our goal is to provide quality legal representation to the people of Western Maine and beyond. ​

Tucker Derstine has been admitted to practice in the State of Maine since 2018. He is a graduate of the University of Maine School of Law. 

​​

His practice is varied, but concentrates on criminal defense, civil litigation, as well as some probate and corporate work. 

 

Tucker is a local. He was born and raised in the Oxford Hills region. He attended Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School, then went on to study Criminology and Psychology at the University of Southern Maine. After graduating from USM, Tucker worked in the mental health field.

 

He then earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Maine School of Law in Portland. While in law school, Tucker spent a year working in the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic, where he was sworn in as a student attorney in both the State and Federal courts. In his capacity as a student attorney, Tucker represented a variety of low-income Mainers in criminal matters, family law cases, protection from abuse cases, and pardons.
